My story is capturing memories through creating content.
When I found myself in a creative draught, I started to learn to see the world around me differently. Every little thing around me was starting to inspire me and I started asking myself, “What can I create out of this?” Whether it was a simple pop can, or cars driving by, I knew there was a way to make something out of nothing. I took what I learned and applied to to wedding and travel films because I got tired of doing the same thing over and over again. Being from Eastern South Dakota, it can be hard to feel a little inspired sometimes because there isn’t mountains, there aren’t any oceans or beaches. I had to work with what I had. It’s not about where you’re from or what you have to create with, it’s about how you use what you have and tell a narrative. Because of that, I was able to start traveling and start making more content around the country and the more time went on, the more experience I gained. The beauty of capturing content is that it’s almost like a digital journal or archive of memories you have for a lifetime and that’s what I’ve always wanted to do. Capture memories that will last a lifetime.
